Thomas the Tank Engine Learns an Important Lesson About Being Nice
My two nephews were both CRAZY about Thomas the Tank Engine when they were kids.
Personally, I found the rigid class hierarchy of the Island of Sodor to be offensive.
Typically British, none of the trains had the courage to challenge that fat fuck Sir Topham Hatt when he played evil puppetmaster and set them fighting amongst themselves for the illusory and utterly useless title of “special.”
The downtrodden, working class trains cannot even conceive of a life other than being slaves to an upper class industrialist who uses and abuses them for profit and, at times I think, cruel entertainment.
Although, truth be told, the relationship between the trains and their overseer is really nothing more than a manifestation of every Englishman’s favorite sexual fantasy – to be dominated and made to eat shit by a sadistic master or mistress.
Silly British, so comfortable in their oppression….
